Serve as a primary sales contact in assigned territory responsible for overall development of managed care organization accounts and relationships.
Expand sales by increasing business with existing accounts and developing new business, both by phone and in-person.
Contact accounts in conjunction with company marketing and objectives.
Maintain the CRM database to include customer information, follow-up correspondence, copies of correspondence to account, and sales analyses.
Increase knowledge of our products, and industry as well as the activities and products of our competitors
Assist the sales team with development of sales strategy, and assist with sales activities and management of business development.
Responsible for the delivery of internal targets with focus on profitable growth.
Collaborate with internal teams with focus on account specific objectives.
Provide clear internal and external analysis of reports with focus on performance measures.
Achieves assigned new meeting quota in designated accounts.
Attends and participates in departmental meetings. Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence.
Attends all meetings, in-services training, or continuing education as delegated by the supervisor.
Provides customer focused interactions.
Performs all duties necessary for the department as per department policies and procedures.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department.

Bachelor's degree required; school of study in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or related field preferred
5+ years of proven success in a Business Development role required; experience selling into health insurance plans preferred
Willingness to travel up to 1-2 times per quarter
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably SFDC, HubSpot) and other relevant sales enablement tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Close attention to detail
Highly organized
Good communication, including writing, speaking and active listening
Great project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization
Self-motivated and able to set personal and professional goals, and able to achieve these goals with minimal supervision
